Writing NSW is the state’s premier writing organisation, helping thousands of writers each year through quality professional development, a lively events program, networking opportunities with industry, and quality information and advice.
Writing NSW makes an invaluable contribution to the vibrant writing culture of NSW and has played a key role in the early careers of many successful writers. Our commitment to support writers from all backgrounds, in all genres, and at all stages of their careers, has created a lively and supportive community, into which new members are welcomed. One of our key aims is to help writers build sustainable careers in the rapidly changing writing and publishing environment and we do this through our programs, grants and by providing paid employment opportunities to hundreds of writers each year.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on government funding and the generosity of individual sponsors and donors to do this important work. We appreciate support through donations and bequests.
Writing NSW gratefully accepts donations as a contribution towards our programs.
Donations over $2 are tax deductible and your contribution will be used to support writers across our range of workshops, festivals, competitions as well as our referral and advice services.
Donating is easy – simply call us on (02) 9555 9757 or donate online. We thank you for your support.
If you are interested in making a bequest to Writing NSW, you may choose to use our clause template, available here. If you have any questions, please call us on (02) 9555 9757 to discuss the matter with our CEO. Your confidentiality is respected.
