Is it time to take your creative non-fiction writing to the next level? Receiving individual feedback is an ideal way to develop your writing skills. In this online course, you’ll receive one-on-one feedback on your essays, memoir, features or criticism, enabling you to hone your skills over five months. Feedback will vary depending on each piece but may focus on areas such as structure and pacing, voice and tone, research and scope.
Each month from July through November, you’ll submit up to 1500 words of non-fiction via email. The following week, your tutor will return the story with tips to help you develop both that specific piece and your writing in general. Each month, you can submit either new or previously submitted, revised writing.
This course is ideal for those who have written a number of drafts, had a first publication or contest short listing, and are now keen to further develop their craft.
Participants must have email access and confidence using basic computer software
Submissions (up to 1500 words of creative NF) are due on the following dates:
Sunday 15 July
Sunday 12 August
Sunday 16 September
Sunday 14 October
Sunday 11 November
You will receive your feedback within two weeks of submission.
