Friday 7 June 2019, 10:00-11:30 am

Our next First Friday Club meeting falls on 7 June and features Zoe Walton, a publisher of books for young readers at Penguin Random House Australia.

Zoe edits New York Times bestselling author John Flanagan, whose Ranger’s Apprentice and Brotherband series have sold fifteen million copies worldwide. She also publishes many popular and award-winning Australian authors, including Deborah Abela, Tristan Bancks, Fleur Ferris, Emily Gale, Tim Harris, Belinda Murrell, Elliot Perlman and  Renée Treml – as well as up-and-coming authors Catherine Greer, Nat Amoore and Gavin Aung Than, who have exciting new books launching in 2019.

Join us as Membership Officer Sherry Landow chats with Zoe about her work, career journey, and everything in between.

About First Friday Club

First Friday Club is a monthly event at Writing NSW, free and exclusive to members. The club takes place on the first Friday of every month (March-October) from 10am-11:30am. Each month a new guest speaker from the writing industry, be they author, editor, publisher or journalist, joins us for a group conversation about writing. This session is then followed by a delicious morning tea.

This members-only event is free, but RSVPs are essential.
