Leave a Legacy for Writers
A gift in your will to Writing NSW is a powerful way to nurture the storytellers of the future. By leaving a bequest, you help ensure that writers — from those just beginning to find their voice to those striving to sustain a creative life — have access to the tools, support, and community they need to thrive.
Writing NSW is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting writers at every stage of their journey. While we’re proud to champion recognised voices in Australian literature, much of our work is about building the pipeline — creating space and opportunity for the emerging, the under-represented, and the yet-to-be-discovered. Your legacy can help keep that pipeline flowing, ensuring the next generation of writers has the chance to develop and be heard.
Bequests of any size are deeply valued. They allow us to offer low-cost programs, residencies, writing groups, events and mentorships that might otherwise be out of reach for many writers. If you believe in the power of stories — and in the importance of helping emerging voices across our state reach readers — a bequest to Writing NSW is a meaningful and lasting way to make a difference.
If you are interested in making a bequest to Writing NSW, you may choose to use our clause template below. If you have any questions, please call us on (02) 9555 9757 to discuss the matter with our CEO. Your confidentiality is respected.
