Event Recap / First Friday with Jon Page

Jon Page joined First Friday to speak about his background working in the book industry, what goes in to managing one of Australia’s longest-running bookstores, current trends in the publishing and bookselling, and what customers today actually seem to want.

First Friday, our monthly conversation with an industry professional, is a chance for our community to learn more about the writing and publishing industry. This October, we invited you to our online event with Jon Page, General Manager of Dymocks Sydney and former President of the Australian Booksellers Association.

Watch the Zoom recording here.

Catch up on our First Friday Zoom recording as Writing NSW CEO Sophie Groom chats with Jon about his background working in the book industry for over 25 years, what goes in to managing one of Australia’s longest-running bookstores, current trends in the publishing and bookselling, and what customers today actually seem to want.
