Local bookstores are the old friend in the neighbourhood. They give great advice, are always around for a chat and some of them even make killer lattes and brownies. This Saturday 13th of August is National Bookshop Day and no matter where you are, there is sure to be a bookshop celebration nearby. Support your local, buy up big and have some fun with your friendly and knowledgeable booksellers. We’ve rounded up some events happening across the state – let us know if you hear of any others!
