Jordan Shea

Jordan Shea (he/him) is a Filipino-Australian writer and teacher who works across theatre, screen and non-fiction. A graduate of the VCA, his work includes Kasama Kita (Belvoir 25a/aya), Ate Lovia (Old Fitz/kwento), The House at Boundary Road, Liverpool (bontom) and Cage (Old 505). Jordan’s work has been developed extensively with Belvoir, STC, Australian Plays Transform, Hayes Theatre, and KXT. He is currently the 2021 Varuna House fellow through Writing NSW, a former Philip Parsons Fellow at Belvour, and current Artistic Associate at KXT. Passionate about authentic, charming and intergenerational Filipino-Australian stories, he is a frequent collaborator of Kenneth Moraleda, and their play, One Hour No Oil premieres in October. Jordan is currently writing a new musical with Vicky Falconer Pritchard, anda new YA novel supported by Create NSW.
