Judi Morison

Judi Morison has Gamilaroi and Celtic heritage and lives on Wadi Wadi country. A member of the Ngana Barangarai (Black Wallaby) Indigenous Literary Project and editorial assistant for Dreaming Inside: Voices from Junee Correctional Centre, she led South Coast Writers Centre’s 2021 Emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Writers Mentoring Program. Morison’s writing has been published in several literary journals and her earlier historical novel manuscript was short-listed for the 2018 Varuna First Nations Fellowship and 2019 Penguin Random House Write It! Fellowship, and won a 2020 Queensland Writers Centre’s Publishable mentorship. She loves spending time on Country and is currently learning to speak Gamilaraay.
