Kate O’Donnell

Kate O’Donnell is a highly experienced freelance editor. Kate O’Donnell has been an editor since 2006, initially for HarperCollins Publishers Australia. In 2010 she became a freelancer, and now edits authors such as Jackie French, Judy Nunn and Jesse Blackadder. She works for HarperCollins Publishers, Random House Australia, Allen & Unwin, Simon & Schuster, Momentum Books, Magabala Books and Fremantle Press, as a manuscript assessor for the New South Wales Writers’ Centre. For several years Kate was also a mentor to emerging editors for Seizure Online‘s flash fiction program.

Kate O’Donnell is one of Writing NSW’s manuscript assessors for fiction and narrative non-fiction.
