Kelly Rigby is an editor and coach who is passionate about helping writers tell their stories and polish their words. Over the past 30 years she has developed a unique combination of writing, marketing and teaching experience, and holds qualifications in creative writing, editing, business and TESOL. Kelly edits and assesses manuscripts from most genres. The writers she has worked with have gone on to land book deals with small press and major publishing houses, as well as Australian and American literary agents. Kelly has mentored writers who have won Varuna Fellowships, Romance Writers of Australia awards, and been longlisted and shortlisted in The Richell Prize for Emerging Writers. This past year she was thrilled when the debut novel of one of her writers won multiple literary awards, including the prestigious Ethel Turner Prize for Young People’s Literature.
