Liam Keenan
Liam Keenan is a Gomeroi guitarist and curator based in Sydney. Known for his longstanding songwriting project Meteor Infant, this year saw the release, via Room40, of Keenan’s collaborative album with indie-rock experimentalist David Grubbs entitled Your Music Encountered in a Dream. A suite of three improvised guitar duets, layering effects and extended guitar techniques to explore the boundaries of harmony and dissonance. He is interested in supporting the growth of Indigenous creative practices in regional New South Wales, as well as exploring the growing potential of new-media projects in museums.
