Tweetpitch: Pitch your Play on twitter for free dramaturgy session and Playwriting Festival tickets

Do you have an idea for a play bouncing around in the back of your head? Have you been meaning to get started for ages, but just never found the time? Tweetpitch is your chance to crystalise your idea and take the first step towards developing your work.

From February 12-24, Tweetpitch will be up and running through the NSW Writers’ Centre twitter page. The challenge: to write a synopsis of your idea for a play in 140 characters or less (including the hashtag #playwrite12). The top 5 submissions will  get a free ticket to the NSW Playwriting Festival on Saturday March 3rd, and the winning entry will receive a 30 minute dramaturgy session with David Ryding to develop their idea further.

Inspire us, excite us, dazzle us!

Make sure you tag your entries correctly! #playwrite12

NB: Applicants must be able to arrange their own travel to and from the festival in the event of winning a free ticket.
