In 2012 the NSW Writers’ Centre is developing a database of writers’ groups meeting throughout Australia. On our website we now host an interactive map showing where writers’ groups are currently located around Sydney and wider NSW. We want to keep building up this resource for aspiring writers around the country.

If you run a writers’ group in your area and would like to add your group to the database or put in a call out for fellow writers from your area, just get in contact with us. Of you’re interested in joining an existing writers’ group or maybe even convening a new one, you can use the interactive map to find other people in your area who share your interests.

You can also search the interactive map to find information about bookshops, libraries and other local organisations or venues which have indicated an interest in hosting writers’ groups.
