First Friday with varuna

First Friday, our monthly conversation with an industry professional, is a chance for our community to learn more about the writing and publishing industry.

In August, we invited you to our online event with Varuna Creative Director Amy Sambrooke and Executive Director Veechi Stuart.

Each year, over 200 writers participate in residencies and professional development programs at Varuna, the National Writer’s House. In conversation with Writing NSW CEO Jane McCredie, Amy and Veechi discussed Varuna’s opportunities and events for writers, the upcoming Writing NSW Varuna Fellowships, and what it is that makes Varuna such a beloved literary institution.
