Mark Marusic

Mark has self-published two books of poetry, Mercurial Meanderings and Iconoclastic Journeys, as well as editing the anthologies A Square Circle and Poetsconsortorium: Poets at the Petersham Bowlo. He regularly presents his poetry at a range of Sydney venues, as well as co-convening Poets at the Petersham Bowlo open mic soiree. Mark has consistently been writing poetry since the mid 1990s. Two years ago he decided to turn his versing to a longer format—a verse novel. Themes in his shorter poems include the environment and home, and his relationships with these. He also writes philosophy papers, which he presents at the Continental Philosophy Group of Sydney.
