‘I wish I had this opportunity when I was starting out as a writer, someone who looked and really saw, who considered my work seriously.’

The 2023 Boundless Festival consisted of five in-person events between September and December, in partnership with Western Sydney venues.

Congratulations to the successful applicants to our 2023 mentoring program for emerging literary curators from culturally diverse backgrounds: Alejandra Martinez, Greg Page and Simone Amelia Jordan, as well as returning curators Tina Huang and Zohra Aly.

“The incredible range of genres and styles of writing submitted for this program suggests that the future of Australian storytelling is in good hands.”

The program is one of three initiatives designed to increase cultural diversity in writing and publishing offered by Writing NSW with funding from Create NSW.

We’re delighted to announce the successful applicants to our new mentoring program for emerging curators of writing events from culturally diverse backgrounds.
