Is it time to take your poetry writing to the next level? Receiving individual feedback is an ideal way to develop your writing skills. In this online course, you’ll receive one-on-one feedback on your poems, enabling you to hone your skills over five months. The feedback will vary depending on each poem but may focus on structure, rhythm, tone, imagery as well as helpful tips for fine tuning.

Each month from July through November, you’ll submit one or more poems of up to 60 total lines via email. The following week, your tutor will return your poems with tips to help you develop both your submitted poems and your writing in general. Each month, you can submit either new or previously submitted work.

This course is ideal for those who have written a number of poems, had a first publication or contest short listing, and are now keen to further develop their craft.

Submissions (one or more poems up to 60 lines in total) are due on the following dates:

Sunday 15 July
Sunday 12 August
Sunday 16 September
Sunday 14 October
Sunday 11 November

You will receive your feedback within two weeks of submission.
