Poetic Justice: How Hip-Hop Saved My Life

Join us in celebrating the transformative power of rap. Simone Amelia Jordan will share captivating stories from her new memoir, Tell Her She’s Dreamin’, reflecting on her journey as Australia’s top hip-hop journalist. Together with co-host Zig Parker, they’ll exchange stories with selected audience members who would like to share life-changing tales from hip-hop culture.

Then, brace yourself for an electrifying rap battle between L-FRESH The Lion and Mari. with DJ Capital Zee. With support from Diversity Arts Australia, this unique celebration marks hip-hop’s 50th anniversary year.
