Join the hosts of The Book Deal podcast, Natasha Rai, Tina Strachan and Madeleine Cleary, in a live recording of The Book Deal held on location at Writing NSW. For aspiring, emerging and established writers, this special Christmas episode will feature Australian bestselling author and the podcast’s Agony Aunt-in-residence, Hayley Scrivenor. Live on stage, Hayley will address your most pressing and confidential writing and publishing dilemmas – from rejections, to craft, to creative roadblocks and more. Natasha, Tina and Madeleine will also reflect on the things they learned on their journey while publishing their first books in 2025.

Following the live recording, there will be a Christmas market, selling specially selected books. There’ll be several surprise Australian authors in attendance ready to chat about their books plus a HUGE 2025 Australian debut author giveaway prize to win.
