Our next First Friday Club meeting falls on Friday 3 August and features Isabel Staas, Production Manager at Hachette Australia. Isabel has been making books beautiful with Hachette for almost a decade. In that time, she has worked on an eclectic mix of titles and has been responsible for the art direction of cook books, designing marketing material for novels and producing foreign language editions of children’s picture books. She also looks after the production of Hachette Australia’s Audio list.

About First Friday Club

First Friday Club is a monthly event at Writing NSW, free and exclusive to members. The club takes place on the first Friday of every month (March-October) from 10am-11:30am. Each month a new guest speaker from the writing industry, be they author, editor, publisher or journalist, joins us for a group conversation about writing. This session is then followed by a delicious morning tea.

This members-only event is free, but RSVPs are essential.
