Event:

First Friday with Miles Merrill

4 November 2022, 12:30-1:30pm

Online, via Zoom

First Friday, our monthly conversation with an industry professional, is a chance for our community to learn more about the writing and publishing industry. This November, we invite you to our online event with Miles Merrill, Creative Director of Word Travels.

Word Travels runs major spoken word literary events around Australia and the Asia Pacific. They inspire spoken word artists, poets, hip-hop artists, storytellers and monologists to share their stories, explore their creativity, and connect with their communities primarily through live performance. Join us for a conversation with Miles about the projects and programs of this ground-breaking not-for-profit.

This event starts online at 12:30pm, via Zoom, and will run for 60 minutes. If there is time, we will take audience questions at the end. Free and open to members and non-members, but RSVPs are essential.

Registered attendees will receive a link to access this event online immediately prior to the event start time on Friday 4 November.
