Event: First Friday
First Thursday with Rochelle Fernandez
Thursday 2 April, 12.30pm
Our usual First Friday interview series is moving to a Thursday in April to accommodate the public holiday. First Friday is our monthly conversation with an industry professional and a chance for our community to learn more about the writing and publishing industry.
On 2 April, we’ll be in conversation with Rochelle Fernandez, agent at Alex Adsett Literary. In this session we’ll explore the role of an agent, Australia’s changing publishing landscape, what great book pitches have in common, and how to create a compelling pitch that will impress a publisher or agent.
This event starts online at 12:30pm, via Zoom, and will run for 60 minutes. If there is time, we will take audience questions at the end. This event is free and open to members and non-members, but RSVPs are essential. You can also submit a question for Rochelle in the ‘Additional Information – Order Notes’ section at Checkout.
If you have additional access needs please contact us at info@writingnsw.org.au or 02 9555 9757.
Registered attendees will receive a link to access this event prior to the start time.
