First Friday is our monthly conversation with an industry professional and a chance for our community to learn more about the writing and publishing industry.
Join us in conversation with Lesley Williams, founder of Major Street Publishing, an independent Australian publisher focussing on non-fiction works. Join Lesley as she discusses the state of non-fiction in Australia and beyond, what it takes to make it as a non-fiction writer, and how new models of production and marketing are changing the industry.
This event starts online at 12:30pm, via Zoom, and will run for 60 minutes. If there is time, we will take audience questions at the end. This event is free and open to members and non-members, but RSVPs are essential. You can also submit a question for Rochelle in the ‘Additional Information – Order Notes’ section at Checkout.
