First Friday Club, our monthly conversation with an industry professional, is a chance for our community to learn more about the writing and publishing industry. This September, we invite you to our online event with CEO of the Australian Society of Authors, Olivia Lanchester, in conversation with Writing NSW CEO Jane McCredie.
Jane will speak with Olivia about ways the Literature sector has adapted to new challenges imposed by the pandemic, and the work the ASA has been doing on behalf of writers across Australia.
This event starts online at 12:30pm, via Zoom, and will run for 60 minutes. If there is time, we will take audience questions at the end. Free and open to members and non-members, but RSVPs are essential.

Olivia Lanchester is the CEO of the Australian Society of Authors. Previously, she ran the ASA’s Contract Assessment Service and is passionate about advising authors and illustrators on their rights and optimising their position.
