For nearly 35 years, Writing NSW has been a spark for Australian writers, nurturing emerging voices, mentoring careers, and building a thriving future for literature in our state.

Now, we invite you to be part of this story at the inaugural Night of Letters, our major fundraising event for 2025.

Your $100 ticket includes

  • A sparkling welcome reception with wine and canapés under the jacarandas

  • An intimate evening of readings from Australia’s most acclaimed authors

Miles Franklin Award winner Shankari Chandran, James Colley, Richard Cooke, Melina Marchetta, Mark Mordue, Michael Robotham, Saman Shad, Jessie Tu and more. Hosted by Michaela Kalowski and featuring a special musical performance by Nardi Simpson.
