Do you want to learn how to write romantic fiction? Join bestselling, award-winning author Shannon Curtis, for a workshop on how to write a romance novel.

In this romance writing course, we look at the conventions of the romance genre, the romance reader and reader/market expectations. We’ll explore the differences between category and single title romances, the Happy Ever After and Happy For Now endings, and romance tropes. Whether you want to learn how to write romance, paranormal romance, historical romance, romantic comedy, romantic suspense and more, understanding what goes into a romance and how to develop it is vital.

We’ll delve into the heart – and the psychology – of characters in a romance, and how to craft a romance that pulls at the heart strings of your readers and delivers a satisfying read. You’ll learn techniques on how to plot a romance novel, how to develop a hero and heroine that will attract and engage readers, and how to structure your romance story into a tight, page-turning read, and how to write a romance with series potential.
