Writing Groups: Fantasy
Back to all writing groupsHawkesbury Writers/Editors Group
We are a supportive group of writers meeting once a month to discuss writing elements and to help improve each other’s work by providing constructive feedback on submissions. Submissions are up to 3,000 words, and are submitted 2 weeks prior to the meeting, to be critiqued by fellow members. The critiques are then shared on the night of the meeting, along with any discussions of particular interest.
Scripto Libris
We all attended Alan Mill’s year long novel writing course in 2011 and thereby share a common language and serious commitment to writing. Our aim is to write the best that we are able, encourage and support each other, celebrate the achievements and milestones, and enjoy the journey with hearty chuckles along the way.
Shellharbour Writers
Shellharbour Writers is a small but fun group of like minded people, working towards the same goal—to write. We have poets, memoir, fiction and fantasy writers who come together once a month to work on a theme. The group is supportive and we have have simple workshop activities with time to just discuss what we are all doing and ask for help from the group. We meet the second Saturday of each month at The Whitehouse Cafe in Shellharbour Village at 10.30.
Speculative Fiction Writers’ Group
We have been a supportive group for over ten years. We usually read four pieces in a meeting and provide verbal feedback. Several members have found publishing success. We aim to provide a positive and supportive group.
