Have an idea for a podcast and wondering how you could get your project off the ground? Join the creator and co-host of The First Time Podcast, Melbourne author Kate Mildenhall, to learn how to create your dream podcast and get it into the ears of listeners.
This one-day workshop covers how to get started, including your concept, audio set up, and planning a season, as well as how to create great audio content including hot tips for interviewing and episode scripts. It also includes insights on marketing and distribution, playing the social media game, and using the podcast to build your author profile. Learn how to avoid the mistakes Katherine and Kate made as they took their podcast project from initial idea to its second season and over 15,000 listens!
Note: while this workshop provides resources on some technical aspects of podcasting such as recording equipment and software, this isn’t a tech-focussed course, and step-by-step instruction will not be provided.
