Congratulations! You’ve written the last line and now your manuscript is finished. Or is it? Join novelist, translator, and heavy reviser Tiffany Tsao as she shares effective strategies for revision.
Together you’ll work through a set of exercises designed to improve your ability to critique and edit your own work. You’ll learn how to make revision an organic part of your writing process, as well as how to take audience, genre, and other circumstances into account when improving your work. Revision doesn’t have to be grueling. By the end of the day, you’ll have the tools to make revision an efficient, fruitful, and even enjoyable experience.
Although poets are welcome, this workshop will focus mainly on revising prose.
