Event:

September Write-in (In person)

Saturday 6 September 2025, 10.30am – 2pm

September ushers in spring, a time of birth and regrowth. Did you know that Nick Cave, Roald Dahl, Chimamanda  Adichie, J R R Tolkein, Baz Lurhmann, and Agatha Christie are all Septmeber births? Whether you are writing about coming of age in a foreign land, orcs rampaging across pristine plains, deaths on trains, or red curtain spectacles, you need the time and space to do so. Our Write-ins deliver just that. Spend a Saturday pushing your craft further, hitting those self imposed deadlines, and creating something new and brilliant. All this in the company of fellow writers.

What to expect

A mixture of quiet writing sprints and optional informal ‘coffee and chat’ breaks. The writing sprints start short but extend in length over the duration of the Write-in as you get into the groove. Tea, coffee and light snacks help to keep you fuelled up. Bring a lunch for the long break and a fully charged device (or pen and paper).

Write-ins happen monthly and bookings are essential. If you have any questions, please contact us if you need further information.
