Could 2027 be the year you finally write your novel?

Join us for an inspiring evening of storytelling, creativity and celebration as we showcase the achievements of our 2026 Online: Year of the Novel writers!

Whether you’re dreaming of writing your first novel, seeking motivation to finish a manuscript, or curious about our popular Year of the Novel course, this is your chance to discover what a year dedicated to writing can achieve.

Join Writing NSW online via Zoom on Wednesday 25 November from 6.30pm-8:30pm to hear readings from our talented 2026 participants, celebrate their creative accomplishments and meet brilliant course tutor Amy Lovat.

You’ll also have the opportunity to hear firsthand about the Year of the Novel experience, meet fellow writers and find out how the course could help bring your own writing ambitions to life.

This event is free and open to all, but RSVPs are essential.

A Zoom link will be sent to attendees a week prior to the event. Please join 5–10 minutes early in case you need to update Zoom or check your settings.

Ready to make 2027 your writing year? Our popular Year of the Novel course returns in February, with in-person classes at Writing NSW led by Ashley Kalagian Blunt and online classes via Wet Ink and Zoom led by Amy Lovat.
