Could 2027 be the year you finally write your novel?

Join us for an inspiring evening of storytelling, creativity and celebration as we showcase the achievements of our 2026 Year of the Novel writers!

Whether you’re dreaming of writing your first novel, seeking motivation to finish a manuscript, or curious about our popular Year of the Novel course, this is your chance to discover what a year dedicated to writing can achieve.

Come along to Writing NSW on Wednesday 2 December from 6.30pm to hear readings from our talented 2026 participants, celebrate their creative accomplishments and meet brilliant course tutor Ashley Kalagian Blunt.

You’ll also have the opportunity to hear firsthand about the Year of the Novel experience, meet fellow writers and find out how the course could help bring your own writing ambitions to life.

This event is free and open to all, but RSVPs are essential.

Doors open at 6pm for a prompt 6:30pm start. The evening will conclude at approximately 8:30pm.
