Each year, Writing NSW partners with regional writers’ festivals to present ‘Inside Publishing’, a panel discussion that explores the inner workings of the publishing world. This event provides networking opportunities and information about the industry to writers in regional NSW.
This year the event will be held at Bellingen Readers & Writers Festival.
Come along at 5pm on Sunday 10 June to find out how the publishing industry really works from publishers, agents and other industry insiders.
Featuring Lex Hirst, commissioning editor for Penguin Random House Australia; Jo Butler, freelance editor and publishing consultant; Robyn Sheanan-Bright, the first executive director of the Queensland Writers’ Centre; and Lucy Bell, senior editor at Pantera Press. This panel will be chaired by Writing NSW’s CEO, Jane McCredie.
