This seminar, Pitching to Literary Journals with James Jiang, will take place online, via Zoom.

Do you have some great ideas for non-fiction pieces, but are unsure how to get them out there, into the literary world? It’s always nerve wracking pitching your ideas and pieces for publication. But it doesn’t need to be. There are a multitude of literary journals in Australia, searching all the time for new content and writers.

This seminar, with editor James Jiang, will help participants refine their pitches to literary journals as well as fine tune their approach to writing longer non-fiction pieces.

**Please note that this seminar is targeted at non-fiction writing, including essays and reviews. 

Expected Learning Outcomes

In this seminar, participants will:

  1. Gain the ability to write memorable and better articulated pitches
  2. Gain increased confidence in the editing of one’s own work
  3. Gain greater knowledge of Australian literary journals.

This seminar takes place on Zoom. You will need a secure internet connection and confidence using basic computer software to take part in this seminar.
