As winter was mild, spring should come early, which for Writing NSW means being clothed in jacaranda petals. Mottled across our lawn, bathing our paths in a fragrant mauve miasma. If you have similar purple prose waiting to get out, join our monthly Write-in this October. It might just be the inspiration you need.

Write-ins are quiet writing sessions are held one Saturday a month at Writing NSW (Garry Owen House, Callan Park). Bring your fully charged device (or pen and paper) and join other writers in a series of quiet writing sessions of increasing length. At lunch, chat with other writers or find a quiet part of the park to reset your mind and get ready for the next session. There is no obligation to share your work  – Write-ins are not writing groups. Bookings are essential. To reserve your place click on the event to the right.
